This is the most accurate description of how my day turned out. Started off getting laid off work then going to the casino to hit jackpot.
I try not to throw the word ‘amazing’ around too much, but this is amazing.

It’s been about three to four years since I’ve been thinking about getting this tattoo. I would get it as a 3/4 sleeve on my left arm and the reason being is I just love DTLA so much. I just love everything about it. The smell, the community, the vibe, people, the list goes on and on. While living on 5th and Spring I seriously had the most fun and excitment I’ve ever had in my whole twenty-four years of living. I never experienced a more welcoming city in my entire life. I have never been to New York but DTLA is pretty damn similar I’d think. I love being able to walk across the street at 12pm and to 6th street market and get cigarettes without having to pay. The old man who owned the market knew me so well that he gave me groceries and basically anything I wanted on credit knowing that I’d come back the next day and pay him back. He also always gave me free candy and ice cream. He was the nicest man ever. I loved how alive and vibrant the city life was. Every second Thursday having Art Walk and seeing how alive the city becomes was just mezmorizing. Being able to walk out of my apartment straight into Art Walk was something I took for granted. I should have enjoyed Art Walk more often. Now that I don’t live in DTLA I really regret not going to every Art Walk. I loved the fact that you didn’t need to drive anywhere*meaning not having to waste any money on gas* and how nice everyone was. Even the homeless/crack heads were so kind. They come off scary but they are actually very kind and helpfull. Other than the drug addicts who always ask for money because they want to get high. I thought I’d never say this, but I miss the smell of dog shit and piss in DTLA. I want to go back =[
I’ve been a professional athletic trainer for about 16 years and have been able to work with a range of athletes from the high school to professional level. Right now I run in a clinic in Cincinnati and have most recently been training with some players on the Bengals.
